Patient Rights Charter
All patients possess dignity and value as human beings and have the following rights to live a healthy life, along with corresponding responsibilities and obligations.

Patient Rights
① Patients have the right to have their personality respected based on their dignity and value as human beings.
② Patients have the right to receive equal medical services without discrimination based on nationality, gender, age, religion, economic or social status, type of illness, or any other reason.
③ Patients have the right to choose a designated physician and medical institution for optimal care.
④ Patients have the right to receive medical services from qualified healthcare professionals.
⑤ Patients and their guardians have the right to request information and records related to the patient’s medical history.
⑥ Patients and their guardians have the right to receive explanations about the patient’s medical condition, treatment purpose, methods, content, and results, and to choose the method of treatment or refuse treatment.
⑦ Patients and their guardians have the right to receive explanations about any documents related to medical procedures before signing.
⑧ Patients and their guardians have the right to know the details of medical expenses incurred.
⑨ Patients have the right to have all information related to their illness, treatment, and personal life kept confidential.
⑩ Patients and their guardians have the right to express opinions and receive answers if they have complaints about hospital services or other matters, including medical services.

Patient Responsibilities
① Patients are responsible for providing healthcare personnel with information related to their care, including current symptoms, medical history, medications, and other relevant records.
② Patients are responsible for asking questions and clarifying any uncertainties related to their treatment.
③ Patients are responsible for participating in and cooperating with the treatment plan recommended by the healthcare team.
④ Patients are responsible for the outcomes resulting from not following the treatment plan.
⑤ Patients are responsible for respecting other patients and healthcare personnel and taking care of hospital property.
⑥ Patients are responsible for fulfilling financial obligations related to their treatment.
⑦ Patients are responsible for following hospital rules and regulations.
